The Norwegian currency is the Norwegian Krone (NOK).

VISA REQUIREMENTS

For information about visa requirements, contact your nearest Norwegian Embassy or Consulate (http://www.norway.info/). Citizens of the following countries can visit Norway to attend the GIA 2013 International Symposium without obtaining a visa (as of June 2012).

A: Andorra, Albania (holders of biometric passports), Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria
B: Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda (BDT C passport), Bosnia and Herzegovina (holders of biometric passports), Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria

ELECTRICITY

Electrical power in Norway: 220 Volts AC, 50 Hz. Plugs have two round pins (European standard). Electrical appliances may need adapters.
